Forestry & Conservation - There are groups that volunteer wildlife, forestry management, and facility maintenance services to your park. Send an email to us and we will give appropriate contact information to you. Email to JimB@Beartown.info .

Swimming - The beach is well maintained with running water restrooms and changing areas. It is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The beach is without a life guard so read posted responsibility notices. Please keep pets off the beach and out of the water.

Bird Watching

Boating - Only non motorized boating is permitted on Benedict Pond. You must obtain a free permit at the park office for all water craft. Be sure to read the notice on cleaning the bottom of your boat to prevent invasive species contaminating your pond.

Mountain Biking - Use only designated trails noted on the park trail map.

Off Road Motoring - A no cost permit is required to use the off road trails within the park. This includes motorcycles, all terrain vehicles, and snowmobiles. Obtain permits at the park office. IMPORTANT - Use only designated trails noted on the park trail map.
